WHY is it happening to us? That is the reason why you are stuck. Your mind will come up with a lot of reasons, they might be valid but lots of time, trust me, they are not!
This can feed into doubt, lack of self-confidence and in severe cases to depression and anxiety.
How can we make it stop?
Understand that replaying pain is not helpful. It is like watching a bad movie again and again and again.
Connect with positive people. Go out and do something that you enjoy. Pick up a hobby, read a good book, listen to happy music. Engage in meaningful activities! Go for a walk in nature, that usually does the trick for me.
