How I finally accepted my mental illness and let go of shame and resentment.

Some people have lost their lives because they didn’t feel safe enough to share their struggle, because we didn’t make them feel safe enough — it’s on all of us. The way we talk about mental illness and taking medication for it makes the difference between shame and health.
